Bandai Carddass PSA 10 prices are four times what they were a year ago, and this is every card's price

The twelve prisms and the plain cards repriced together. The pooled prism PSA 10 median went from $900 to $3,801 between the twelve months to 13 October 2025 and the twelve months to 13 October 2026, on 53 and then 107 sales. The plain Pokémon cards went from $136 to $600 on 259 and then 505 sales. Across every card, buyers paid $2,214,918 for 618 PSA 10s in the latest twelve months, against $257,056 for 315 the year before. A PSA 10 prism now sells for about five times a PSA 9 of the same card.

The figures are the 5,841 sales of 1996 Bandai Carddass cards in PSA 7, 8, 9 and 10 priced in dollars, 1 January 2024 to 13 October 2026, that we hold from Fanatics Collect, eBay and Goldin and from PSA's own record of sales on each cert page, with a sale seen in two places counted once. The latest twelve months hold 3,405 of them. The 283 yen-priced sales from Mercari, Yahoo! Auctions and Rakuma are in the archive and left out of every dollar figure. A two-card eBay lot and one Charizard sale PSA records at two prices are left out. The grade is PSA's where PSA has confirmed the cert, otherwise the venue's. Each prism's PSA 10 price, with PSA 9 beside it

The table is the latest twelve months for each of the twelve prisms: how many PSA 10s PSA has graded, how many sold, the median and the top price, then the same card in PSA 9 and the ratio between the two medians. Every prism sold at least six times in PSA 10. The ratio runs from 3.1x on the Zapdos to 22.9x on the Golem, and the Charizard's 17.5x is the gap between a $2,730 PSA 9 and a $47,696 PSA 10.

The Charizard's $120,000 high is a green copy, cert 132068889, sold on eBay on 10 October 2026, four days after the $100,100 sale reported here. The Venusaur and Blastoise highs, $38,400 and $40,800, both closed at Fanatics Collect on 5 October, inside the quarter covered here. Mewtwo has the steadiest price of the twelve: ten sales with a median of $9,091 and a high of $13,000, so its median is within a third of its top. Articuno has the most sales, 13, and the second-lowest median, $1,812.

Every PSA 10 prism sale since January 2024 on one axis

The chart holds all 225 dollar sales of the twelve prisms in PSA 10 since 1 January 2024, one dot per sale. The three years read as a step. 2024 had 81 sales at a median of $780 and $150,677 in total. 2025 had 48 sales at a median of $995 and $151,307. 2026 to 13 October has 96 sales at a median of $4,450 and $1,164,523. Sales of $10,000 or more went from 3 in the twelve months to 13 October 2025 to 26 in the twelve months after.

The pooled prism median, quarter by quarter

The bars are the median PSA 10 prism sale in each quarter, all twelve cards pooled, with the number of sales behind each figure. Through 2024 the median sat between $750 and $1,560. The second quarter of 2025 reads $7,650 on four sales, three of them Charizards, and is the one quarter where the sample is too small to carry weight. The move begins in the first quarter of 2026 at $2,500, then $3,360, then $3,995. The fourth quarter of 2026 is thirteen days old: 19 sales with a median of $29,999, because thirteen of them were Charizard, Venusaur or Blastoise prisms.

The plain cards repriced with the prisms

130 of the 139 plain Pokémon cards sold at least once in PSA 10 in the twelve months to 13 October 2026, 505 sales for $985,314. The median plain-card PSA 10 sale was $600; the 10th percentile was $132 and the 90th $5,952. In the twelve months before, 114 of the cards sold, 259 times, at a median of $136 with a 10th percentile of $77 and a 90th of $500. So the floor of the plain-card market rose about as far as its top. The fifteen highest twelve-month medians are below; most sit on populations of 5 to 25 PSA 10s and on one to five sales, so a single sale sets several of them.

The plain-card high is this Pikachu. The eBay listing asked $100,000 and closed on 4 October 2026 with a best offer accepted at $80,000, which is also the figure in PSA's record of the sale; the $100,000 is the asking price, not the price paid. PSA has graded 80 of the card a 10. The other eight Pikachu PSA 10 sales of the twelve months ran from $2,400 to $8,800, so the card's median is $5,000 and this sale is ten times it. The Abra at $20,000 (one of 7 PSA 10s) and the two Nidoran at $20,000 and $17,000 (one of 5) are the other plain-card sales above $15,000, all three on eBay between 5 and 11 October 2026.

The same slab, sold a year apart

Because each sale is tied to a cert, the clearest test of a rise is one slab sold twice. 73 PSA 10 certs have a dollar sale before 14 October 2025 and another since. 56 sold for more the second time and 17 for less, and the median multiple is 2.3x: 2.8x across the 22 prisms and 2.0x across the 51 plain cards. Thirteen of the seventeen that fell were plain cards first sold at Fanatics Collect in 2022 or 2023, and fifteen of the seventeen second sales landed between October and December 2025, before the plain cards moved; a Tentacruel bought for $660 in January 2023 made $126 in October 2025. The fifteen largest multiples are below, each a slab you can look up on PSA.

The top four are plain cards in green, each bought for $132 to $198 between September 2024 and September 2025 and sold for $5,880 to $10,000 between 21 September and 8 October 2026. The red Blastoise prism at 41x, cert 42265572, is the largest prism multiple and the only one in the fifteen above $20,000. Both Mewtwo prisms at $750 in 2024 and 2025 made $11,700 and $13,000 in July and September 2026.

PSA 9 is the grade most buyers actually pay for

PSA 10 took 66.7% of the money in the twelve months on 18.1% of the sales. PSA 9 sold 1,323 times, more than twice the 618 PSA 10 sales, at a median of $131 against $840. For the prisms the PSA 9 median is $750 against $3,801; for the plain cards $86 against $600. The PSA 9 price moved with the PSA 10 price: the pooled prism PSA 9 median was $234 in the last quarter of 2025 and $1,275 in the first thirteen days of October 2026. A buyer who wants the card rather than the grade is paying about a fifth of the PSA 10 figure for a prism and about a seventh for a plain card.

Red and green moved together. Of the 107 PSA 10 prism sales of the twelve months, 54 were red copies at a median of $4,488 and 48 were green at $3,200, with 5 not yet read for colour; the two largest sales were green and the next four red.
